1. Account Creation & Security

To participate in discussions, post threads, and interact with the community, you must create a registered account and be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and account session keys.

2. User Content & Conduct Guidelines

All text, images, and content posted on this forum are the sole responsibility of the author. By posting content, you grant Nexus Forums a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to host, store, copy, display, modify, and format your content for the purposes of operating the platform.

You agree not to post any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially/ethnically objectionable.

3. Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed upon by content posted on Nexus Forums, please contact our support team with a detailed takedown notice. We reserve the right to remove infringing content and terminate the accounts of repeat offenders.

4. Third-Party Links & Content

Our forum may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Nexus Forums. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You acknowledge and agree that Nexus Forums shall not be held liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of or reliance on any external content.

5. Account Deletion & Content Retention

We respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. If you decide to terminate your account, the following protocols apply:

  • Requesting Deletion: Account deletion requests must be submitted directly via email to our support team at contact@nexussuite.co.uk.
  • Personal Data Removal: Upon verification, your profile information, avatar, email address, password, and active login session tokens will be permanently removed from our active databases.
  • Content Retention: To preserve the coherence and chronological value of community discussions, your public threads, replies, comments, and engagement reactions will **not** be deleted.
  • Anonymisation: All retained posts, threads, and comments will be fully anonymised. The author identity attribution fields will be permanently reassigned to a generic user label, such as [Deleted User], stripping out all direct linkages to your identity.

6. Paid Features & Purchases

Nexus Forums offers paid premium profile customizations (such as custom name colors, text effects, and custom profile backgrounds).

  • Transaction Processing: All transactions are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store or process payment card details.
  • Refund Policy: All digital item purchases are final and non-refundable.
  • Suspension or Deletion: If your account is suspended, terminated, or deleted due to violations of our conduct guidelines, any purchased customizations will be lost and are not eligible for a refund.

7. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the forum at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nexus Forums is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. In no event shall Nexus Forums or its parent entity, Nexus Suite, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the portal or service.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Nexus Forums shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted on this page. Your continued use of the forum following the publication of any modifications constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.
